SEY Loimaa ry. assists in finding homes. These are not cats adopted out by the association.
Two sweet female cats (Artemis, 5 and Momo, 4) are looking for a calm and loving new home. Both cats were rescued from an outside population, and have been living as indoor cats since they were adopted in 2023. Both cats will happily come for strokes and attention from trusted people, and with the right person will cuddle up on your lap on the sofa or bed. Artemis (black with white diamond) in particular is very active, and loves to play, while Momo (tabby, the smaller of the two) tends to be more calm, and will happily be curled up in her favourite sleeping spot for hours. Neither cat is particularly food driven, but do enjoy the occasional tasty treat, and both love spending time watching birds outside the window.
Both cats are wary of new or noisy people and may initially hide when new people come into the home, but usually Artemis is the first to say hello, especially if there is play involved. Although Artemis may seem like the bolder of the two, she can be more sensitive and can be scared of loud noises and large changes in the home. This has sometimes led to occasional cases of idiopathic cystitis/urinating outside of the litter box, which we believe will be remedied by having a calm, peaceful and predictable home.
They are looking for a new home as unfortunately they have not coped well to the hustle and bustle of having a child added into the home, and as such are looking for a peaceful, child-free home.
Both cats came to us sterilised, microchipped, FIV negative, and vaccinated. The adoption fee is 200e for both cats, which will be donated to SEY Loimaa ry.
